This workshop is designed for the first time dog/puppy owner or for the experienced owner looking for help with a specific behavior issue. Due to limited space, this will be an information session only, so please do not bring your pet! Shelter animals will be used for demonstration purposes when needed. (This is a one session only course)
The following topics will be discussed: Housebreaking, Crate Training, How to lure/reward- train to sit/down, Positive training/toys, Training bite inhibition, Dog-people/ dog-dog socialization, positive Reinforcement Basics/Clicker Training. Individual questions are encouraged. This is a workshop designed for you to learn what you want to know. A shelter dog will be used to demonstrate training techniques. Free to SPCA pet owners. For all others, $5.00.
