That depends on your charges, availability, when staff has the time to train you, and the number of community service volunteers we already have. Call us at (540) 434-5270 and ask for the manager in charge of court-ordered community service.
Our regular volunteer programs DO NOT count towards court-ordered community service. It’s not fair to the volunteers who want to help animals out of the goodness of their hearts. The Volunteer Coordinator will not sign your forms. If you would like to do both programs, that can be arranged based on your charges. However, the time does not count twice.
