In keeping with CDC recommendations regarding the spread of COVID-19, we are requiring appointments for visitation with adoptable animals. In addition, everyone over the age of 10 must wear a face mask when they enter the building, per state guidelines.
All of our small mammals, except rabbits, are currently housed at PetSmart in Harrisonburg. Please visit PetSmart to see and interact with the animals listed below. Rabbits, however, are housed at the shelter. To meet with the small mammals housed at the Rockingham Harrisonburg SPCA, please make an appointment. This listing is not updated in real-time (except for the rabbits). Please contact PetSmart for a more accurate list of adoptable animals.

This page is not updated in real time as animals get adopted. We recommend calling PetSmart in Harrisonburg before you visit to see who is still available for adoption. Once at the store, you can visit with the animal and apply to adopt them there.
