His new name is Tater Tot and he is doing very well. When we brought him home from the shelter, he walked out of the carrier and began to explore. He acclimated amazingly well, acting like he owned the place within minutes. There really wasn’t an adjustment period. No skittishness, no potty accidents. It was as if he had lived with us all his life … like he knew he belonged at our house.
He is a good mix of playful and laid back. He loves jingle bell balls and also loves laps. If you have a lap, he’s jumping into it … no matter what you’re doing when you have that lap. :D
He watches over our cul-de-sac from his cat tree by the window, excited by birds and squirrels in our yard. (And stares smugly at the little white dog across the street.)
He has a girl who loves him very much. He has been a good friend and comfort to her in her transition to a new school.
I am attaching a few photos of our sweet, spoiled boy.
Sincerely,
Anita
