Hi, my name is Termite and my brother's name is Tuffy. We were two residents of the Harrisonburg/Rockingham SPCA until one day in October 2016 we made our TV debut as the Kline May pets of the week. Boy, did our life change after that! On the same day as our TV moment aired this great family came to the SPCA to visit us.
They were very kind and gentle people and they seemed really excited to meet us. Their daughter had visited us the day before and I acted like a snuggle bunny and cuddled a lot with her. We all played for awhile and then things started happening and Tuffy and I weren't really sure what was going on. The next thing we knew we were in brand new kitty carriers and riding in a car to our new forever home.
Well, let me tell you I was a nervous wreck and hid behind a chair for the first day or two at this new place. My brother Tuffy seemed much more comfortable and made himself at home. I would get upset and cry when I didn't see my brother in the room with me. I was so glad that my brother and I were able stay together.
After a few days I realized these people really liked me and I started to really like them too. I even jumped on my new moms lap, crawled up to her shoulder and gave her a kitty hug to say thanks for the new home. Tuffy would sleep on the bed with them and play laser dot. I would play with my bird on a stick and do high jumps and all kinds of tricks. Tuffy and I would also wrestle and play chase through the whole house. We both really love it here.
Brother and I are so thankful everyday that we have a safe, comfortable home to live in. We know our people family love us because they treat us so well and are always happy to see us and to play with us. Thanks so much for putting us on TV and giving us a chance for a great life!
